The first post of the website, how exciting! I want to dedicate this first post to all the friends and family who have been along this whole journey.
I never imagined managing a social media account for a dog, let alone, my first dog. I got Zara while in the midst of ending a long-term relationship. She has been with me since the start. She's helped me channel all my stress through a positive outlet. I never knew how emotionally connected I could be to a dog. Before getting her, people would tell me "remember, it's just an animal." Little did I know, she'd be my whole world.
I made her Instagram account because I didn't want to annoy my friends and family with so many dog pictures. We would get a few likes here and there. One day, I decided to post a reel, not thinking much about it, and BOOM! It took off! Since then, it hasn't been the same. We get messages every day, asking about tips, future puppies, and people just saying hi. Occasionally, we get recognized in public, which is pretty cool, and scary at the same time.
The purpose of this website is to allow me to answer questions more in depth with regards to diet and training, the journey I am taking with Zara in raising her, and just sharing life moments along the way. We wouldn't be where we are today without you guys. Thank you for following the journey and always supporting us. Mahalo!
