Aloha Family it's been a while!

It's been quite some time since I've written in the blog. These past few months have been pretty hectic. I just wanted to share what the buff bitch family has been up to lately.

During the beginning of April, I had my bodybuilding competition. I set aside 4 days without Zara to be able to meal prep, tan, and de-stress as much as possible during show day. Zara stayed at the sitter and had a blast as usual lol. I ended up getting 2nd place overall with my boyfriend *now fiancé*, and we're both nationally qualified; meaning, we can compete at a higher level.

Right after the show, I made preparations for Zara's 1st birthday. Luckily, I planned it out wayyy in advance. The theme was fantasy. I ordered a Pawty cake from Hawaii Doggie Bakery located in Honolulu. The cake was made out of sweet potato and it was a total hit! It was purple with a unicorn on it. I totally forgot to sing happy birthday before cutting the cake, but oh well, I guess we'll have to wait for next year haha.

For her birthday outfit, I ordered a tutu and crown from Beauty by Paris and got myself and my boyfriend matching shirts from Barins Boutique. I also put a birthday banner up in the house from Banner Cheer Jr. All of these shops are on Etsy. 10/10 would recommend! I'll post links below.

Other than that and work, we've been also working on starting a small cookie business called Thicky Bricky Cookies, where we specialize in stuffed cookies named after bodybuilding legends. It's been quite time consuming with testing recipes, building the website, marketing, etc. I feel like I've been trying to dedicate time between Zara's IG content, work, cookies, fitness, and just EVERYTHING.

Right after we launched our business, we took a mini vacation to Kauai. It was a three day trip jam packed with adventure! And Bret proposed at Jurassic Falls! I cried so much that day!

During the end of May, my sister and her boyfriend, and my fiancé's sister visited us in Hawaii for a week. And leading into June, I took a trip to the Mainland to visit my fiancé's family and go on a road trip from Colorado ( where he's from) all the way to Texas for his new job.

Now it's summer time, and I've been just busy working, working, working! Hopefully, I'll get a bit more time as everything settles down!
